COUNTRY ELEVATOR COMMITTEE
Committee Chairman: Paul Katovich, Chief Executive Officer, HighLine Grain Growers Inc.
NGFA Staff Liaisons: Max Fisher
This committee addresses issues important to grain warehouse operators, including federal and state regulatory issues. In so doing, it works extensively with USDA and state grain warehouse regulatory agencies. The committee also is responsible for representing the interests of country elevators in the NGFA’s policy-development process. In that capacity, it provides input to other NGFA committees on cross-cutting issues important to country elevator managers, including futures market performance; transportation; safety, health and environmental issues; agricultural biotechnology; and industry education and training needs.
